A rare and wonderful custom set of 11 plates from Copeland Spode England. Rich Cobalt Blue Extended Collars featuring raised gilt encrusted cartouches of musical instruments.

Custom ordered through the fine gilded age Philadelphia firm of J. E. Caldwell and featuring gilded rims on the back of the plates (extravagant and also protective to help lessen scratches).

Regal and ready to mix and match in with all your fine tabletop. In very good antique condition.
