Description

Clear beautiful crystal by one of America’s re known firms, Steuben of Corning New York. These elegant pieces are Circa 1939 and are fully hall marked with Steuben’s diamond-point etching in the form of the letter “S”. The quality and condition of this set is wonderful and they have blown finished pontils. They retain their original felts and silver papered boxes stamped with “Steuben Glass Inc New York, Chicago, Palm Beach. This last store opened in 1937. A versatile set for your table, the bowls and plates are perfect for fruit, dessert, compote, puddings and so much more. Their crisp clean lines will mix and match in with all your fine table top.

Polished pontil present (an indicator of blown glass) After 1932, diamond-point etching is used to form the letter “S” or “Steuben.
